A spray gun is a precision instrument — and paint residue left in the fluid passages, nozzle, or air cap after a job will directly affect the quality of your next one. Dried paint causes blockages, uneven spray patterns, and premature wear on internal components. Regular cleaning after every use is the single most effective thing you can do to protect your gun and maintain finish quality.

A proper cleaning kit gives you the right tools to get into every part of the gun — precision needles for clearing passages and circlips, twisted wire brushes for fluid tubes, detail end brushes for the air cap and nozzle, and nylon bristle brushes for general parts cleaning. Using the right tool for each area means less risk of damage to seals and internal surfaces compared to improvising with whatever's to hand.
